Privileges While in the John Spoor Broome Library

• Visitors may use materials such as books, media, databases and electronic journals while in the building.  A login to use electronic materials while in the building can be obtained at the reference desk.
• Visitors may copy and print while in the building at a cost of .10 for black and white and .25 for color.  A card dispenser is located on the first floor of the reading room.

Privileges Beyond the John Spoor Broome Library

• Visitors may purchase a John Spoor Broome Community Card for $80.00.  The card is good for one year, and allows visitors to check out books for 4 weeks, and media for 1 week.
• Visitors that are currently enrolled Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Students or University Glen residents may purchase a John Spoor Broome Community Card for $40.00.  The card is good for one year, and allows visitors to check out books for 4 weeks, and media for 1 week. 
• Visitors that are current CI Alumni Members are eligible to receive a John Spoor Broome Community Card at no cost. CI Friend Members are eligible to receive a John Spoor Broome Community Card at a cost of $40.00. In most cases, the card is good for one year and allows visitors to check out books for 4 weeks and media for 1 week. 
• Due to license restrictions, visitors cannot be granted remote access to electronic databases and journals.
